I would like to thank our Cody-Kilgore families for supporting the school through the mask wearing process. Our first priority was to keep everyone safe and it is encouraging to see that we have very few cases in our county. Starting on Monday, January 11th students and staff will not be required to wear masks. Getting back to normal was our goal, and at this time we will be taking a step in the right direction.

Welcome Back! Just an update on the Winter Activity Guidelines. The NSAA has given us the okay to be at 50% capacity in our gym. Each player will now be allowed 4 tickets which will be distributed before each game. It no longer has to be household. You can get into the game if you have a ticket. Tickets will be handed out this week and that process will start on Saturday. Tuesday's game you will only need to be on the list. Masks are still required. Please remember to wear your mask when in the building. Thank you.

Dates for next week CK Basketball: Jan 5th vs Gordon-Rushville @ Cody- JV girls start at 4:00pm (2 quarters) followed by JV boys (2 quarters) Varsity girls tip off at 5:30pm MST followed by Varsity boys. Jan 8th vs. North Central @ Springview- JV girls will play 2 quarters and will start at 4:15pm MST followed by JV boys. Varsity girls will tip off at 5:30pm MST followed by Varsity boys. Jan 9th vs Sandhills-Valley @ Cody- Junior High girls (quarters and time TBD) starting at 11:00am MST followed by JH boys (quarters and time TBD). 2:30pm- clear JH fans. JV girls (2 quarters) will start at 2:45pm MST followed by JV boys. Varsity girls will tip off at 4:00pm MST followed by Varsity boys. More January dates with times and quarters to be announced at a later date: January 12th @ Valentine January 14th @ Hay Springs January 16th vs. Hitchcock Co. @ North Platte Community College (NO JV) January 21st vs. St Francis- CANCELLED Jan 23rd- Jan 30th- MNAC CONFERENCE

The NSAA released new winter guidelines. Capacity is up to 50%. Masks are still required. We will now give each Cody-Kilgore athlete four tickets for attendance to games. We will do a list for this Saturday but then we are thinking about giving the kids tickets each week that they can give to their fans. Stay tuned! Happy New Year! Go Cowboys! Hi C-K Basketball parents and guardians! The basketball photo gallery is live and ready for orders. It expires Sunday December 27 at Midnight. Orders will be delivered to the school unless you select "ship" at checkout. When ordering a Memory Mate, please add the individual picture to the cart, I don't know all the kids by name ;-).
