Congratulations to Amanda Toren! After graduation Amanda will be returning home to finish high school and then plans to return to the United States to attend college!
I couldn't be any prouder of the CK FFA members on their accomplishments this past year. At our FFA Banquet Wednesday evening, we awarded Discovery, Greenhand, Chapter FFA, and Honorary degrees. In addition we recognized star, SAE Loan, and Grant recipients. Finally we introduced the 2021-2022 Cody-Kilgore FFA Officer Team. Below are the recipients of these awards.
Star Greenhand- Grace Wolff
Star Chapter- Kassidy Roseberry
Honorary Degree- Leslie Roseberry
SAE Loan- Sadee Adamson- Sadee is planning on buying a replacement heifer to continue to grow her cattle herd.
SAE Loan- Grace Wolff- Grace plans to build a high tunnel to grow her own fruits and vegetables.
SAE Grant- Tucker Ravenscroft- Tucker is planning on using this to go towards buying a welding generator.
SAE Grant- Parker Andrews- Parker is planning on using this to help purchase a registered Angus heifer.

The Husker Mobile Beef Lab is coming to Cody and Kilgore, tomorrow, Monday, April 26th.
The lab will be OPEN to the communities from 12:15 - 12:45 pm at the Cody High School. Please join us to experience the “hands on” science of the rumen animal digestive system. 🧪🐄
The lab will need to leave at 12:45 sharp to make it to the elementary school on time, so please plan accordingly. Hope to see you tomorrow! 😁
