WEDNESDAY (9/7): picture day- JH VB, HS FB, HS VB practice from 4-6pm
THURSDAY (9/8): JH FB, HS FB, HS VB practice from 4-6pm
FRIDAY (9/9): Varsity FB kickoff at 1:00pm MST
Volleyball at 4:00pm MST
(Varsity first, then 2 sets of JV after)
SATURDAY (9/10): Bridgeport Tournament start time 9:00am

School Pictures have been moved to Monday, September 12th due to the high temperatures this week.
We will still do Fall Sport Pictures on Wednesday.
3:30 pm - JH Fall Sports Pictures - coaches please be ready to do football first and then volleyball. We need to make sure the football players are not late for the bus. If a HS student and a JH student need a sibling sport photo please sent the HS Student at 3:30 to get their pictures taken.

Our Cowgirls and Cowboys teams competed at Arthur County today.
JH VB girls A team was defeated 0-2, B team won 1-0
JH FB boys lost 9-36.
Varsity football boys lost a tough battle 20-46
Varsity volleyball girls lost 0-3. (15-25, 21-25, 14-25)

High School Art Students created Identity Name Sculptures. This was a great way to get to know each other better, while learning an important cardboard sculpture technique (slots).

CK High School Art students worked hard last week to promote Cowboy and Cowgirl Pride before both home games.
Good evening. I wanted to inform you that we have two students that have recently tested positive for Covid. If there is a positive case, the student will have to stay home for 5 days. If they are fever free and do not have any other symptoms, they can come on the 6th day. If a student is exposed to someone in the household, they may come to school as long as they are not showing any symptoms.

Weekly Update
Middle School students had their first day of snacks. The Middle School will participate in the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program through the school lunch program.
Congratulations to our defending state champions, The CK cowboys, on a 25-24 victory over Wallace.
The CK striv is down. The game is being broadcasted by KVSH and Husker Radio.
We are currently experiencing technical issues. We should be up soon. We will post when we are up and running.
The CK Cowgirls are victorious. They took away two W’s at the home triangular tonight. They first beat Banner Co. (2-0) and then beat Sandhills-Thedford (2-0) in a close one! How about them Cowgirls?
