On April 8th, a solar eclipse is scheduled to occur. The Cody-Kilgore School has arranged for solar eclipse glasses to be available for students to safely observe this phenomenon. If you prefer that your child does not participate, please contact the school by the end of the day on Thursday, April 4th.
There will be a Middle School Dance on April 11th from 6-8 pm at the Elephant Hall. Admission is $2. Students must be eligible to attend. Eligibility will be determined on Thursday, April 4th @ 4:00 pm. Middle School Parents donated snacks for the students are appreciated.
Middle School students have been studying the moon phases in preparation for the Solar Eclipse on April 8.
Aubree Johnson has been accepted to Nebraska Wesleyan University! She will major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and will also be part of the Prairie Wolf volleyball and track teams. Congrats, Aubree!
Track Schedule changes for April.
The High School Track Meet in Bassett has changed from April 2nd to April 8th.
The Bennett County Track Meet at Bennett County is being moved from April 4th to April 20th.
The junior high track meet in Ainsworth tomorrow, March 28th, has been postponed. We will update you when they have made a decision for the new date and time.
Dominic Fresquez will be attending Northeastern Community College in the fall! He will major in Utility Line. Congratulations, Dom!

The local Blood Drive will be held this Thursday, March 21st from 7 am - 11 am. at the basement of the Sandhills Church of Hope. Students who would like to donate blood need to have parental permission to leave school to do so. They will need to bring an ID Card and a signed Permission Slip to donate blood.
